    General Media - YouTube Believe it or not, you're not your diagnosis. I'm not saying ignore what the doctors tell you. I'm not saying don't take care of the body. Of course you should. But what happens when we get a diagnosis whether we've searched on the web or we've gotten it from a doctor or heath care professional, often what we do is we take it on as an identity and we go looking for it everywhere in our lives. And because we're looking for it everywhere, we're magnifying it or reinforcing it, and there is an alternative.

    What you can do is start letting go of that identity. You can still take care of the body, you still do all the things required to be healthy. But if you let go of the identification with a story about how awful your body is, you'll discover new ways of helping it. You'll discover that there is a sense of aliveness, a sense of energy, a sense of power that's right within every cell in your body that can get liberated and really help you heal yourself.

    Now, the Sedona Method has never actually treated, diagnosed, cured or even advised about any kind of physical condition. I'm saying all this completely based on the reports that we've gotten from people all over the world, people who have been on anxiety or depressive medication with their doctors' help in a relatively short periods of time no longer need it because they're no longer depressed. They are no longer anxious. People who have had allergies clear up that doctors told them they couldn't, that the people who have even had serious diagnosis of critical conditions that have either cleared up completely or have gotten a lot better. But the most commonly reported health benefit from letting go is most disease is totally magnified by how we feel about it.

    So what happens when you let go is their symptoms get less just because you're not stressing abut them. You're not anxious about them. You're not beating yourself up for having the symptoms, so you're not really angry at yourself for having them. When you let go, you feel healthier, you feel more alive. And again, I'm not saying this is a guarantee. I'm saying it's based on what's happened to hundreds of thousands of people all over the world already.
