  • Goals Process - Release the source want or the reaction?

    Is the right way in the goals process when I have a thought or feeling to find out the origin of that thought or feeling? Hale says "Does that come from w/a, w/c, w/s, or w/o?"

    But in the book he says I should let go of whichever wants are stirrred up/triggered by reading the thought that I wrote down in the NOW moment.

    I find the first way very difficult, because it's more like "Hm, which want would make sense to be the origin of this thought?" aka "why did I write this down?" but the second one's really simple and easy, because it's about my now want, not where the thought or feeling originated from.
