  • Planning to go to Sedona

    Hi,

I'm planning to attend a worshop in Sedona and I would like to hear from u... What is the best way to go, lodging in sedona (is there some transportation available besides ranting a car...) or lodging in Flagstaff... (There seems to be better prices available when combining flight with lodging in Flagstaff...)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Daniel,

you can find some threads about this in the forum 'Live events'.

One of the threads there about lodging:
    http://www.sedonamethodcommunity.com...on-update.html

Also the official website of the Tourism Bureau in Sedona is helpful:
    http://www.visitsedona.com/

To get to Sedona, there are several shuttle services from Phoenix-Sedona. They will bring you to your hotel.
Here is some information about that:
Getting to Sedona: Air, Rail & Shuttle Transportation to Sedona

There are several hotels on walking distance of the training centre, like the Sedona Motel and Kings Ransom.
And you will find that it's very easy to find a ride to your hotel or when having dinner.

I don't know about lodging in Flagstaff; I have never been there to stay, but I think it's an hour drive from there to Sedona.

hope to see you in Sedona,

    Clarie

      Hi Daniel,

As a resident of Sedona, I would definitely not recommend staying in Flagstaff. The weather is quite unpredictable this time of year and there's a 2,500' elevation difference between the two. If it snows 3" in Sedona, it could be as much as a foot in Flag., making the narrow canyon road difficult, if not impossible to travel through.

Clarie has some good suggestions here, plus you could try calling Bimla: 928-274-4252. I believe she still has a room available in her house. Someone else on retreat is staying there and probably has a car. It's about a 10min drive to the Center. Ask for her best rate, she's flexible.

Check out the Sedona Phoenix Shuttle from Phx. airport.

I even know of a Living Love Retreat ticket for sale at a good price, if you haven't purchased yours yet.
      Email me at: annrika@esedona.net

      Hope to see you soon.

Hi I'm planning on going to the Living Love retreat in Sedona on Dec. 27. I could arrive that morning or the day before if someone is interested in sharing a car rental. The shared weekly rental would be less than a bus back and forth, and nice to share time going up as well.

I would be open to sharing a room with another woman as well.

Thank you to both of you, I was planning to fly until Flagstaff because according to Google maps, Flag is a 45 min ride while Phoenix is a 2hrs00 + ride... What do you suggest ?

            Daniel,
The airport in Flagstaff has very few flights and can get snowed in. Phoenix has easy cheaper flights from around the world and has great transportation to Sedona. The best bet is Phoenix.
            Love,
            Hale

                Daniel,

Not sure if you're still looking for accomodations but I've been looking for someone to share a hotel room or condo with during the Living Love Retreat. I've been there before for a past retreat so I know my way around town. Let me know if this is of any interest to you.

                Warm regards,

                Ryan

                    Hello Eve,

I will be arriving to Phoenix from Paris on Dec 26th but has to stay over and would be leaving for Sedona Dec 27th. I am not too eager to drive, but willing to share or even pick up the cost of the car rental for the week.
Tell me if you are interested.
