  • how to word my goal correctly - help really appreciated.

    Hi all,

I would really like some help on wording a goal.

I'm a semi-pro photographer specialising in landscapes, seascapes etc, and I would love to run a highly successful business full time selling framed/unframed prints of my work via my website and other avenues.

I was thinking something along the lines of the following but it doesn't look right, seems awkward etc.

I allow myself to easily and effortlessly run a highly successful photography business selling framed and unframed prints of my work.

As Minja says, I would include financial success. Make sure it's your business that you're running, and doeas it have to take all of your time. Also releasing on the action steps, via website, etc., also supports the goal and gets you into appropriate action.

    Hello Highlander43
Maybe you could try this also: [B][I]I allow myself to develop a successfull photography bussines that will provide abundant financial rewards for me.
In this affirmation that you wrote (please have in mind that I am still beginner and that I am also learning still ) it sound like you are limiting your job only to selling framed and unframed prints. Mybe you need to ad:selling framed and unframed prints and more.

This is my first time to try to give answer. So I would appreciate your opinion about this. Maybe you could give me some direction if I am doing something wrong here. If I am I wil learn!

    Thank you very much!

Do what you do when you are doing it, and don't do what you are not doing when you are not doing it!

      Hi Brian,

      Here's my suggestion:

I allow myself to have a financially successful business selling my photography, effortlessly.

Short and sweet. Make sure it's your business you're running! And does it have to take all your time? Releasing on action steps, website, etc., supports the goal and gets you into appropriate action.

Wishing you the best of everything.

      Annie

Could you add some joy to that? Just wondering because having work I love is very important to me.

              Hi Persephone,

that's a good point about the 'joy'. I've reworded the goal as follows - I allow myself to joyfully and effortlessly have a financially successful business selling my photography.

I think I am happy with the wording now, thank you all of you.
