I hear in the courses that we should be welcoming all the time but there isn't too much information. Anyone have any advice on how to be welcoming throughout the day?

    Thanks,

    John

It could be as easy as noticing something in the moment...then noticing if you are resisting that....then choosing to welcome it instead...eg at the moment I can hear a neighbour talking and feel slightly irritated by that..I could resist the irritation or welcome it.

      Hi jkarnis!

Welcoming is the second most fundamental way to let go. Synonyms for welcoming help us to understand what welcoming is and how to welcome. Those are. notice, open to, allow, invite, bring awareness to, observe, etc. A helpful way to think about how welcoming supports letting go is to think about how opening a bottle allows the contents to move out. When we welcome thoughts and feelings we open to them and give them a way to move on out or through the bodymind.
