Does it sometimes feel like you are on a treadmill or an endless race to acquire more or to be more? We all can get so lost in "getting" that we never really enjoy what we have or what is right here right now.
This chasing our tails is not necessary and I have an alternative for you -- Holistic Releasing.
Holistic releasing is one of the five ways of letting go taught in The Sedona Method. It is based on the premise that all that we experience in life arises in dichotomies, pairs with seemingly contradictory qualities. When you experience pleasure, it is often followed by pain. When you experience happiness, you are looking over your shoulder expecting the next unhappy moment.
Here is a Holistic Release for you. Ask yourself...
In this moment could you allow yourself to welcome any feeling of you are not enough or you do not have enough?
Now...Could you allow yourself to welcome the feeling of I am enough and I have enough as best you can?
Keep going back and forth between these two opposite points of view and notice what happens within. I think you will be happily surprised.
We will explore Holistic Releasing, and so much more, at the upcoming Facilitator Training next month.
I'm really looking forward to it and I hope you are too! Check out the event page for more information.
